About Jeremy

Jeremy is a Registrant of the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (#2675) and of the College of Alberta Psychologists (#5049). His training and interests have an integrative and person-centered approach. He uses a foundation in the science of the brain and nervous system to inform how these affect emotion, behaviour, and how we attach and bond to others. This approach, in combination with exploring the importance of your background, beliefs and experiences, is aimed at creating a safe and therapeutic environment for you. Jeremy has specialized training in the following modalities: EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (for couples and individuals) and Levels 1 & 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy. 

Jeremy holds an MA in Counselling Psychology. Before moving to Cranbrook in 2018, he worked at Journey Counselling and the Canadian Mental Health Association in Calgary. His previous experience includes
 training lay counsellors and psychologists in Rwanda, teaching English in South Korea, and serving as an adjunct professor at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
